HopPT is a free, open‑source iOS app that lets you plug in your own LLM providers and web search APIs, then chat with them in a clean, local‑first interface.
No HopPT servers.
HopPT has no backend. There are no HopPT servers and no database for your chats, settings, or API keys. Everything is processed on your iPhone, except for the API requests you choose to send to the third‑party services you configure.
Upgrade your chats with web search and scraping
If you like, you can plug in your own web search and scraping APIs (for example serper.dev for search and Jina.ai Reader for scraping). HopPT simply sends requests using your keys directly from your phone — we never see the data.
Basically a gift
HopPT is a free and open‑source app. It's provided as‑is, without warranties. You're free to inspect the code, learn from it, and use it.
Privacy & Responsibility
HopPT does not collect your chats or your API keys. It does not see what you do with the app and is not responsible for your use of any third‑party providers or content you access through them.
When you connect external LLMs, search engines, or scraping services, you are interacting with third parties, under their own terms of use and privacy policies. Make sure you understand and accept their conditions.
